At the Institute of Science scientist tested transgenic pigs organs like the heart with primates. Test showed that primates that received transgenic hearts lived for an average of 5.1 days before dying. Of the ten primates tested, five had rejected hearts while the others had drug toxicity from immune-suppressors. Eventually they had to be euthanized. Later again baboon viruses like simian foamy virus (SFV) and baboon endogenous virus (BaEV) was founded in two human patients received primate organs.
It is said that "HIV may be a simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) that jumped the species barrier in central Africa". Also baboon viruses thrive on human tissue cultures, before killing the cultures. There are more than 20 lethal viruses in primates that can jump the species barrier into humans, including Ebola, Marburg, herpes B, SV40, SIV and hepatitis A and B.
